Thailand is a buddhist country,
but the frontiers between Buddhism and Hinduism are fluent
and Hindu Gods as Rama, Shiva, Brahma, Hanuman and Ganesha (Ganesh)
are highly enshrined in Thailand.
The elephant-headed Hindu god Ganesha is believed to be
a protector for merchants and brings luck for transactions.

Dancing Ganesh, female formThai style. Thai drawings of Ganesh can be aweswome but I find that His vehicle Mooshika is often missing in Thai images. The Indian Ganeha is very seldom depicted without his favourite vehicle, servant and companion Mooshika.
