Happy Songkran Thailand 2010 ?
In our eyes, there was nothing happy about the biggest water battle on earth.
The start of the Songkran Festival 2010 was ill-starred,
because of the clashes between the red shirt protesters and security forces
at Saturday 10.04.2010, with 21 dead and over 850 injured people.
We´ve been bewildered,
as we saw the water-throwing fun in Khao San road,
Bangkok, at Sunday 11.04.2010
which was a bloody battlefield the night before.

In Chiang Mai same procedure like every year
with increasing ruthlessness and alcoholic excesses.
There has been even more ice cubes
and itching powder added to the water,
than the year before and the death toll also increased.
From the 10.04.2010 until the 15.04.2010
272 people were killed in road accidents all over Thailand
and 3,375 people were injured during this period.
Unfortunatly there are no reports,
how many of this accidents, has been caused by beastly drunk people.

In our eyes, the Songkran festival, as well as the Loy Krathong Festival
is degenerated to a brainless Hooligan party to harm other people.
The best thing to do, during the festival days,
is to imprison Yourself to avoid all the dangers.
