    The parade vehicles are nicely decorated with flowers and plants from the region

    The tropical enviroment of Thailand
    is home for many exotic plants and flowers.
    The Plumeria (called after the French botanist Charles Plumier)
    is native to Central- and Southamerica,
    but also spread all over tropical Asia.
