7 Days 7 Colors Thailand

Thailand is not just a colourful country
with colourful people,
there are quite a few things,
which are very different to western countries.
In Thailand all the 7 days a week have a special color
and people like to dress in the color of the day.
This subject inspired our team to a photo shooting session
about the 7 days and the 7 colours in Thailand.
The pictures has been exclusively produced for our Thailand Art Photography website,

The colours and planets for the weekdays are:
Sunday (wan athit)= red/Sun
Monday (wan chan)= yellow/Moon
Tuesday (wan ankhan)= pink/Mars
Wednesday (wan phut)= green/Mercury
Thursday (wan paruehat)= orange/Jupiter
Friday (wan suk) = light blue/Venus
Saturday (wan sao) = violet/Saturn

The colour yellow has a special importance,
because His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand
was born on a Monday, so yellow is the Kings colour.
