Beware of the Chopping Knife Thailand
By Thai-Eyes | June 29, 2010
Beware of knives,
but especially, beware of a chopping knife held by a smiling Thai lady
in the market, it hides an unforeseeable danger.
Will this charming Thai woman possibly kill You with the knife ?
No, no, no !

She will ask You, while You´re ordering a few pieces of her fried chickens,
Sap mai ? (means: chop it ?)
Don´t be smitten with her charms
and hurry to tell her: “Mai sap, mai sap !” (means: don´t chop it, don´t chop it,)
If You´re to slow to stop her, her chopping knife will smash the chicken,
including the bones, up to a bony chicken puree
and You will have problems to enjoy Your chicken later on,
because of all that smashed or mashed bones.
Thai people seems not to have a problem with that,
I saw it several times, that they even eat the chicken bones.
