Thailand Events Calendar

In our Thailand events calendar we will list the most import public holidays, festivals and events all around Thailand. There is a specialty about public holidays in Thailand, if a public holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the following Monday will be a substitution day. Many, especially Buddha days are movable, means they are dependent on the moon calendar, one of the most spectacular festivals in Thailand, the Loy Krathong festival is held around the November full moon. Please be informed that on high Buddhist holidays and King´s Birthday (05.12.) bars and entertainment places are closed and no alcoholic beverages are on sale. The same regulation is in effect at election days.

Songkran Festival Chiang Mai, North Thailand
If You´ll want to take part in the biggest Thai festivals Songkran (April) or Loy Krathong (November), be warned, that buses, trains and hotels in Thailand could be fully booked.
