Standing in the rain mostly means You´re not on the sunny side of life. The sad Thai song “Poo chai nai sai fon” by Ruj the Star inspired us to this photosession about a broken heart boy in the rain.
The broken heart is one of the most used subjects in Thai songs. Thai people hate problems, they don´t like to argue and while they got a problem in their partnership, they mostly just run away, instead to try to clear the problem. Then they stand in the rain, until friends clear the problem behind the curtain.

A few weeks ago we started plan the broken heart boy in the rain photo shooting, but there was nobody around, who had a sad face. We´ve been very amazed, while friends of our photographer came to visit
and brought a young boy with them. Youngster Mac had a very sad face and we asked him what happend. He smiled and said, nothing, my face is like that. We think he fits 100% to the subject.
