Jigsaw Lamp from Thailand

Thai people are skilled handicrafters and nowadays
they also invent a lot of new stylish and fancy items.
We´ve been very amazed, while we discovered a small shop
at Anusarn market – Chiang Mai – North of Thailand
which was selling this beautiful jigsaw lamps (puzzle lamps)

They been sold in small boxes with a lot of PVC stripes.
Assembled the PVC stripes grow to a wonderful,stylish jigsaw lamp.
There is a big variety of styles, forms, colours, and sizes

The Thais did not invent this. In fact, it’s an “IQ light”, which system was designed in 1972 by Danish designer Holger Str??m. See http://www.iqlight.com
