In our globalized world old traditions are dying out.
The music is dominated by anglo-american sounds,
but Asia is striking back.

Khun In - Thai Xylophone

What a luck, there are still people like
Khun In – Narongrit Tosa-Nga from Thailand,
which are keeping old style, antique instruments and old traditions alive.
Khun In is playing the Thai xylophone (ranad) like no one else,
he´s mixing up old siamese songs with modern rythms
and the result is unique.

Thanx to Khun In the Thai Xylophone – Ranad found his way
to modern rock and popmusic in Thailand and even
Thai Rapper Da Jim was working with the master of Thai xylophone Khun In.
Unforgetable the song “Ruk ter kon dieow”
from the Thai rockband Taxi feat. Loog Thung Star Mike Piromporn
and starring the Thai Xylophone Ranad
