La Villa Chiang Mai Best Pizza in Town

What could You do, if You´re feel like be drowned in a sea of rice ?
The answer is easy, just have a change and visit one of the best pizzerias,
which we came across: The La Villa Chiang Mai Pizzeria.
La Villa is serving Pizza in Chiang Mai – North Thailand for about 20 years,
so once we stumbled about their advertisment: The best pizza in town.
So we´ve been jumping on our motorbikes and tried to find the place.
No chance !
We started a research in the internet.
No chance !
We asked our friends and been told
La Villa is closed for a few years already.
Just a few weeks ago we stumbled about an advertisment
from La Villa Pizzeria and it pointed to another location.
Finally we could locate the new La Villa.
La Villa Chiang Mai had to move about 2 Years ago,
the kind owner, a guy from Torino, Italy, told us.

The first thing what aroused our interest, was the pink coloured wood-fired pizza oven.
This is Thailand, same, same, but different !
What a colour !!!
We ordered a double cheese pizza margherita
and what could I say, it was far and away the best pizza in town
and I even go further on, it was one of the best pizzas I ever had
outside of Italy.
Now You will think it must be very expensive.
No !!!
The prices for pizza, pasta and even steaks at La Villa, Chiang Mai
are very, very reasonable, we paid 120.- Baht for the basic pizza margherita,
and another 40.- Baht for the extra mozzarella (real Italian mozzarella, which tastes like heaven).
all in all 160.- Baht, a bit more then 3.- €.

What else should we say after the mouthwatering picture of the La Villa Pizza ???
The service was perfect, the beer was cold (La Villa offers also a selecdtion of white and red wines),
so just one more word:
A real recommendation !!!!!!!!!

Yes, I have been here and the pizza’s are great. It can be hard to find good pizza in Thailand
