There are quite a lot of recipes for pork sweet and sour,
this is the Thai style recipe variant, called Phad preaw wan moo.
The special about the pork sweet and sour Thai recipe (Phad preaw wan moo)
is the use of fresh, crunchy cucumber and fragrant, ripe pineapple.
In Thailand this well-liked dish is often served with carrots or baby corncobs,
we added red bellpepper in fine strips.

Recipe: Pork sweet sour Thai Style (Phad preaw wan moo)
Ingredients for 2 persons:
Oil to fry
about 200 g pork (chicken, turkey, shrimps….), cut into strips
1/2 fresh, ripe, pineapple, cutted in cubes
1 onion, cutted in eighths
1/2 cucumber, cutted in cubes or strips
1/2 red bellpepper in small strips
1 garlic clove, minced
1-2 spring onions, cuted in pieces of 1 cm St??cke
1 tomato cutted in eighths
50-100 ml pineapple juice
3-4 Tablespoons tomato ketchup
2-3 Tablespoons vinegar (destilled vinegar)
1-2 Teaspoon sugar
1 pinch of salt
fresh grounded pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Umami MSG (Monosodiumglutamat-foodenhancer)
1 long red chili in fine strips to garnish

Preperation:
Heat oil in a wok and fry pork and garlic.
Deglaze with pineapple juice and add onion, cucumber and bell pepper.
Simmer for 1-2 minutes , then stir in tomato ketchup.
Add pineapple, tomato and spring onions.
Season with salt, sugar, pepper and MSG.
Garnish on a plate and serve with steamed Thai rice.
