Rainy Season Thailand on the Road

Sometimes their is no choice and You have to be on the road,
even during the rainy season in Thailand.
A few days ago their was an unavoidable trip to Mae Sai for us
and while the visa run was done, we decided to go to
The city of the Golden Triangle, about 30 km east from Mae Sai.
The road or better the muddy something was a real diseaster
and lastet for about 80% of the distance.
So we slided on or in the mud to The City of the Golden Triangle
and slided back to Mae Sai.
No wonder the driver got aching muscles the next morning.
