Songkran 2009 Chiang Mai Festival knocking on the door

From 10.04.2009 – 14.04.2009 the Songkran festival 2009
will be held in Chiang Mai, North Thailand.
Chiang Mai is well known for Thai new year festival Songkran
with the biggest waterbattle on earth.
At the moment people in Chiang Mai are busy to clean up and decorate the city.

People, which want to take part at the Songkran 2009 fun festival in Chiang Mai
should book tickets for busses or trains in advance.
Also many hotels and guesthouses are booked out during the festivities.
If You come to Chiang Mai for Songkran, be sure to be soaking wet all the time.
Put Your personal belongings in a waterproof plastic bag
and leave Your camera or mobilephone at Your room.
There is no mercy !!!
