Even if many people mean they must exchange money with their domestic bank for a vacation trip to Thailand, we recommend: leave it.
The exchange rates for the Thai currency Bath are substantially worse in Europe and other countries than locally in Thailand.
While You arrive at the international airport Suvarnabhumi in Bangkok you will find innumerable bank branches,where You can exchange money for Your first days.

A few tips for Your security:
* big amounts of cash belongs to the hotel safe and not to the pockets of Your trouser !
* While Your exchanging Your money, ask for some small change,
because mostly You will receive just 1000.- Bath notes,
Taxi and Tuk Tuk driver have only small change.
* Don´t let people look into Your wallet.
Not everbody have to know, how much cash You carry with Yourself .
