Thai Katoeys (engl.: Ladyboys, Transvestites, Drag Queens) are mostly very funny people, who love the Show Off.
Is there a better occasion for a self presentation than Your very own birthday party ?

In Thailand there are mostly to different groups of Katoeys, the so called long-haired Katoeys, which are real transvestites and the short-haired Katoeys, which like to dress like ladys on special occasions, but usualy they look like ordinary men.

Our friend Dyng, from a small village in Isaan (North East Thailand)
is a short-haired Katoey. At his very funny birthday party
he used a small bar in Chiang Mai as his personal stage for his big show off.
In our eyes it was a masterpiece of Thai Katoey lifestyle art
or a masterpiece of art of living.
