Thai people like their food hot & spicy. One of the main ingredients are chilipeppers. This chilis here are called “Prik Kee Noo Haeng” dried birdeye chili or birdseye chili, which are the hottest chilies available in Thailand. On the scoville scale (1-10) they got an 8. Dried “Prik Kee Noo” are used to make crushed chili to spice up soups and wok dishes
and for very hot curry pastes. Most of the Thai dishes are eaten with Thai jasmine rice. As Thai people say, if they´re not having rice on a plate, they won´t be sated.
