Thai people like hot & spicy food.
One of the main ingredients are chilipeppers.
This chilis here are called “Prik Kee Noo Haeng” dried birdeye chili or birdseye chili,
which are the hottest chilies available in Thailand.
On the scoville scale (1-10) they got an 8.
Dried “Prik Kee Noo” are used to make crushed chili to spice up soups and wok dishes
and for very hot curry pastes.
