More than 30 countries worldwide,
like USA, Japan, China, Germany and other Europian Countries
and also Laos has been issued a travel warning for Bangkok
and neighboring provinces, because of the Red Shirt protests.
A few days ago the American Emabassy issued, in top of that,
a Travel Warning for North Thailand, because of extreme Smog.

People in the North may say same procedure like every year
and thats the bitter truth. Farmers burn down their harvested rice fields
and there are also lots of forest fires, a big percentage human made.
Even if its against the law, many people are still used to burn their garbage
in front of their houses and all together produces a big smog cloud,
which is now covering big parts of North Thailand.
We´ve received reports from Chiang Rai province last week,
that there is nearly no breathable air available.
Since a few days the poisonous smog cloud is also covering the sky of Chiang Mai.
People complaining about sour throats, chesty cough, skin irritations,
respiratory distress and others.

If You still stay in North Thailand wear a breathing protection mask,
which helps a little bit.
The Thai Eyes Crew Chiang Mai align ourselves
with the Travel Warning for North Thailand.
To avoid serious health problems, don´t travel to North Thailand at this time !
