Loog Thung music is very popular in Thailand.
“Pleng” means song
and “pleng Look Thung” means “songs from the children of the ricefields”.
Loog Thung Music nowadays is mostly a mixture from traditional Morlum (Morlam) Music
and modern rythms like pop, rock or rap.
Pamela Bowden is a well-known Thai Loog Thung singer,
unforgotten are her electronic Dance Look Thung songs
like: How are You ? Welcome in Thailand
The song is about tourist attractions in Thailand and is sung in English
or better Thai-English, some people call it “Tinglish”
