Once upon a time, life in Thailand was peaceful and fun (sanuk). Young people been still allowed to enter discotheques and listen to songs like the Thai oldie from Y not 7, Ting ruk long mae nam (Throw Your love in the river). That’s all past now. To enter a discotheque in todays Thailand You have to be 20 years old
and the music isn´t that was it was like about 25 years before. Nowadays You have to stand songs from all that TV reality show contests, like Academia Fantasia or The Star, where contestants not even strike the right note.
